Roger Maupin is a dedicated educator, coach, entrepreneur, podcaster, and certified life coach who has spent a lifetime involved in business, sports, and personal development. Throughout his journey, he has been profoundly impacted by mentors and coaches who guided him through life’s challenges, including navigating a divorce after a five-year marriage during which he was a stepfather to two children. Four years later, he met his current wife, and they have been happily married ever since with two girls who are adopted from China. 

 

With over 15 years of coaching experience, Maupin’s passion for sports extended beyond the classroom. He founded a 24-team high school basketball league that successfully ran for 19 years and started a tutoring business aimed at helping students excel. His career also ventured into marketing consulting, where he gained valuable business insights. 

 

Maupin’s growth as a man, husband, and father has been deeply influenced by his faith, the mentorship he’s received from World Wide DreamBuilders, and the impact many Christian men have had on his life. These men have poured into his life, helping him become more intentional in all areas of his life. Surrounding himself with other men on similar journeys has taught him the power of learning from one another, both professionally and personally. He believes that no one has all the answers, but by surrounding yourself with men who are committed to growth, you can discover purpose and finish strong. 

 

Now, as a certified life coach, Maupin is a strong advocate for uplifting and empowering others through men's testimonials and resources specifically targeted toward men. He believes that “men need men” and emphasizes the importance of mutual support, drawing from Proverbs 27:17: “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” Maupin is dedicated to showing how men can profoundly impact each other’s lives, encouraging growth, resilience, and fulfillment by embracing their unique journeys and pursuing their passions with purpose.

 

His podcast, "Men Pursuing More," serves as a platform for men to share their journeys of growth, purpose, and impact. Through the podcast, Maupin seeks to inspire men to take ownership of their lives, become men of purpose, and finish well—leaving a meaningful legacy. By helping men recognize and embrace their potential, he empowers them to lead lives of purpose, passion, and lasting impact.
